Micro Camp will be a community celebration and an opportunity for mutual inspiration. We have several presenters from our community lined up to share their expertise, insights, and ideas. Their presentations will be pre-recorded and streamed live, and there will be an opportunity to engage in a discussion chat during and after the presentation.

We also want to facilitate casual smaller group meetups via Zoom so that folks can get to know people who share their interests and passions. The specific groups and times will be organized based the demand and the schedule of the potential participants.

If this sounds like something you’d like to try, please fill out this survey so we can organize groups and a schedule.

The interests can be anything, though we’ve suggested some of the more popular ones like books 📚, coffee ☕️, pens ✒️, and running 🏃. Feel free to suggest yours in the “Other” option.

If you’d like to meet microbloggers in your geographical location, indicate where you live. 🌎🌍🌏

We also have options to help bring together those who identify with an underrepresented demographic in our community: BIPOC, Blind/Visually Impaired, LGBTQ+, Women, and are open to other suggestions.

We envision these meetups to be fun and friendly, and above all respectful, like the Micro.blog timeline itself. Micro.blog’s Community Guidelines will govern all Micro Camp events. In addition, there is a conference Code of Conduct that all participants must agree to in order to register.
